Legislative Day in DC for our Public Health Nursing course. We got to meet with the Health Advisor for the U.S. Virgin Islands, a member of APHA (American Public Health Association), and observe the senate (which Al Franken from MN was sitting in as President of) from the gallery. It was a good day, and we learned a lot more about the role of Health Policy in our careers.
